The volume and frequency of pumping affects milk production. Remember that this quantity of pumped milk is often a little less than what your baby normally drinks from the breast. Do not worry if the colour of the milk varies from one pumping session to the next.

There are three pumping methods; by electric pump, by hand pump by pumping with your hands. Make sure to pump in a quiet and comfortable environment.

Pump a supply
When you want to stock up on breast milk, pump during or right after your morning feed. Usually, your breasts are so full that your baby will not drink them all. When you pump at work, you can simply stick to the number of feeds you give your baby.
